About the Minnesota Vixen:

The Minnesota Vixen are a NFL-style, full contact, tackle women’s football team that plays 11-on-11 outdoor football. The season consists of 8 games (4 home, 4 away) and playoffs. Pre-season practice begins in January with the games beginning in April.

Offensive Line Coach:

Job Description:

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: The Minnesota Vixen seek passionate candidate for offensive line coach to be part of a collaborative coaching team and assist in all aspects of running a successful program.

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: work with offensive coordinator in developing o-line blocking schemes, practice plan development, individual and small group instruction, and video analysis.

The coach will be expected to attend practices and games, travel with the team for away-competitions and attend team functions such as fundraisers.

Requirements:

  • Candidates should have competitive football playing and/or coaching experience.
  • Knowledge of NCAA rules.
  • Ability to work well in a diverse environment.
  • Desire and ability to work in a collaborative manner with other coaches.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and work independently.
  • Ability to show initiative, organize workflow, and lead.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Previous coaching experience preferred.
  • Experience with and/or ability to utilize video (Hudl) preferred.
