Hey! Sam Barber here! Ive been playing sports all my life. Since I was a tiny little human that literally never sat still…no different than now as a not so tiny little human! Volleyball and basketball were my sports all the way through high school. Then I continued my basketball career through college and onto semi pro. I’ve been playing football since 2017, with a couple years off in between. After last season, I decided to hang up the cleats and retire because as a carpenter I need my body to last 25 more years. Well, that didn’t last long. I missed my teammates, one of my favorite people is now the head coach, and honestly…I don’t know who I am without high level sports. So here we are…on to season #6! I thought, why not try another position! My first three seasons I was a receiver. My 4th season I was a receiver and defensive end. My 5th season was defense end and outside linebacker. And now season number 6 I’ll be trying out defensive back. I’m very excited for this opportunity and thankful I was allowed back! This will be the actual last season for me or I’ll be disowned from my mom and my other half. 😬
