Most Improved: 2017
Sarah Stuhr has never met a sport that she didn’t like…or play long enough to at least appreciate. She challenged the norm as a plucky middle schooler when she brought home a permission slip to play football. After several meetings, getting pants from the high schoolers big enough to fit her hips, and one very interesting locker room chat, she had a successful year playing nose guard, despite breaking several fingers. Due to said injuries, her mom made the decision that tennis would be a better fit. Sarah is excited to be back on the field for her second season on the 2018 Vixen team and to be a part of such an amazing group of women.
Sarah spends her days as a Team Coach for Allianz Life Insurance and “Team work makes the dream work!” is her favorite phrase. Often described as the ‘team cheerleader,’ she loves being a part of a team and working together as a group. When she isn’t at work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Jeff and George, serving as a coach for Girls on the Run Twin Cities, being outside either hiking, running, camping, canoeing, etc., drinking copious amounts of coffee, training for a marathon, and checking items off her bucket list.
