If Britt Peterson’s football career knows anything, it’s success. The Spencer, IA native started her career in the now-defunct Independent Women’s Football League (IWFL) and earned All-American honors at both receiver and free safety. That pattern continues into the WFA, where Peterson has been a first-team All-American all four years so far (once at wideout, three times at safety). Coming off a 2025 season where she tied in leading the WFA Pro Division in interceptions, the veteran is ready for a repeat performance. Peterson loves football for its team-centric nature and its requirement of scheme ingenuity and intense focus.
