Help Us Tell the Story of Women’s Football

The Minnesota Vixen are building something special — on the field and online. As one of the longest-running women’s football teams in the world, we’re expanding our digital media presence to match the impact we’re making in our community and across women’s sports.

We’re looking for a few passionate, creative people to collaborate with us and help bring the Vixen story to life through video, content, and storytelling.

This is a flexible, project-based opportunity ideal for students, emerging creators, aspiring sports media professionals, or anyone excited to build their portfolio while supporting women’s sports.

Below are the three roles we’re growing right now.

🎥 SHORT-FORM VIDEO CREATOR / EDITOR

Reels • TikTok • YouTube Shorts

Short-form video is where women’s sports thrive — fast, dynamic, real, and full of personality. We’re looking for creators who love turning raw clips into engaging content that fans want to watch and share.

What You’ll Do

  • Edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
  • Create hype cuts, behind-the-scenes moments, and player spotlights
  • Use footage captured by our photographers, videographers, and broadcast partners
  • Develop a consistent visual style that matches our brand and energy

What You’ll Gain

✍️ SOCIAL STORYTELLER / CAPTION WRITER

Voice • Story • Narrative

Great content needs great storytelling — and that’s where this role shines. We’re looking for someone who can help put words to the emotion, culture, and moments that define the Vixen.

What You’ll Do

  • Write captions for social posts across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn
  • Craft short features about players, community partners, milestones, and game day energy
  • Bring consistency and voice to our brand across platforms
  • Collaborate with video editors and content capture leads to shape the final story

📸 CONTENT CAPTURE LEAD

Game Days • Practices • Events

We have an incredible team of photographers and a game-day videographer — and now we’re looking to add one more person who can help capture the moments that make the Vixen who we are.

This role focuses on gathering authentic, real-time content that shows the behind-the-scenes heartbeat of our team.

What You’ll Do

  • Attend select practices, games, or events to capture social-ready video
  • Film walk-ins, pregame routines, celebrations, and personal moments
  • Gather vertical clips for editors to turn into finished content
  • Collaborate with our current photographers and broadcast team

What You’ll Gain

  • Experience working on the media side of a professional women’s sports team
