Johanna Vermöhlen, a versatile athlete hailing from Germany, discovered her passion for football in 2014 after exploring various sports. Her career in the football started as a linebacker and safety before transitioning to the role of a running back. Currently, she proudly represents the German national team, a significant accomplishment following her earlier participation in the state team. During the off-season, Johanna engages in flag football.
Beyond the football field, Johanna spends her time in the gym and horseback riding. As she embarks on her inaugural season with the Vixen, this marks her first venture into the United States. Johanna expresses immense excitement about this opportunity and extends heartfelt gratitude for the unwavering support from her friends, family, and, of course, her new team!

Sports have been with Kaity Hove for her whole life. The Trenton, ND native’s time playing football started in middle school, when she convinced her parents to let her join the boys team. Once high school began, basketball became Hove’s sport of choice, playing it through college. Once she moved to Minnesota to pursue her doctorate in Chiropractics, Hove caught wind of the Vixen and has been on the field ever since.

If Britt Peterson’s football career knows anything, it’s success. The Spencer, IA native started her career in the now-defunct Independent Women’s Football League (IWFL) and earned All-American honors at both receiver and free safety. That pattern continues into the WFA, where Peterson has been a first-team All-American all four years so far (once at wideout, three times at safety). Coming off a 2025 season where she tied in leading the WFA Pro Division in interceptions, the veteran is ready for a repeat performance. Peterson loves football for its team-centric nature and its requirement of scheme ingenuity and intense focus.

Solveig grew up in Fergus falls Minnesota, just about an hour away from Fargo. When she was younger she ran cross country, played basketball, and softball. Eventually, she went on to play softball in college at Concordia in Moorhead. When asked why she joined the vixen Solveig said, “I wanted to be part of a team again and have a community surrounding me, doing the thing we love, together.” Outside of the vixen, Solveig brews beer for a living; while physically demanding she couldn’t imagine a better job for herself! In her free time she enjoys hiking, biking, rock climbing, walking with her puppy Mango, and a good trashy reality tv show from time to time!
