Lynn played on boys soccer and baseball teams growing up, and enjoyed pickup football with her big brother and his friends. In high school she excelled in tennis, basketball, cross country and track & field. She was a Division 2 400m hurdler for Ashland University in Ohio. After graduation, she moved back to MN and became a track & cross country coach for Edina High School, and has been doing so since 1996. She is a HUGE advocate that you can do anything you put your mind to, so when current MN Vixen players at the State Fair encouraged her to try out, she figured “Why Not” as football was the one sport she wished she could’ve played competitively but hadn’t. Better late than never! She, her husband, and two kids live in Eden Prairie.
