#70 Ang Bennett

Born in Little Rock, AR and raised in Oak Park, MI, Ang Bennett has always been driven by improvement. While competitive sports were part of their life from early on, Bennett didn’t discover tackle football until moving to Omaha, NE. While searching for a basketball team and discovering that the non-men’s team had folded the year prior, Bennett was recommended to check out the now-defunct Nebraska Stampede, and they’ve been on the gridiron ever since. They love football because it’s the ultimate game of trust, relying on everyone else on the field to hold up their end of the team. Outside of football, Bennett is a renowned visual artist, with their artwork being featured at the Stonewall National Monument Visitor’s Center, the first LGBTQ2IA+ center in the National Parks Service, and being digitized for use on the inaugural membership card.
